Takes forever to download

Could you guys add more stuff with the guitars plz like make them sound more realistic.

Its really cool because you can literally do anything with music. Love it dudes keep it up.

The app is great, however it would be really nice to see some more instruments, such as a ukelele option for the guitar, a piccolo, and some more options for music around the world such as pan flutes or Asian drums. Overall its a great app, but could become even better with more instruments.

No matter how many times I try I CAN NOT Install this app, itll get to about 98% and then a pop up appears telling me its unable to download and prompts me to retry... PLEASE HELP

Im furious i make beats from scratch on this and rap to them for fun i spent all day making this beat and then i get an optimizing performance pop up and then my bass was super messed up and my beat sounded like trash this is the second time this has happened and its unacceptable fix this now

I absolutely love garage band. It has gotten me so far, but as a voiceover user, it is so difficult to use. It is possible, but it is very difficult. When I am using live loops, I wish you could double tap on each loop, so you will not accidentally press the wrong one. Also, when you are using live loops, you can select a genre. It sounds like to me, quite a few sounds in dub step sound like something you would here in hip-hop. So for the synths,I sometimes will use the dub step genre. It would be great to have more of the modern sound of hip hop beats, but still not forgetting the old school sound When you are not using live loops, is it possible that the drums can have more of a kick, or 808 sound? When you press random pattern, or even when you are not using the random pattern button, it would be cool to have more of a swing like you would here in hip-hop beats. Maybe you can select the style of hip-hop beat. Such as trap, dirty south, east coast, old school, etc. when using the smart piano, maybe it should ask you what kind of piano genre sound you want. So if you want a piano you were here in hip-hop, you can select that. Nothing too different, it can be just like selecting an instrument by swiping three fingers left or right. In the basis, couldnt have more of a selection of rhythms instead of the same thing? In other words, Kennett have a little bit more auto play selections? Now, it only goes up to four. It will be cool if he could have eight or so. I dont want to ask for too much, but I am asking this because I know GarageBand can help me be the true position I want to be. It has helped me, and it is constantly improving, so here are some suggestions that will be great to have. #GarageBand

GarageBand is amazing. The drummer option is still one of the best sounding natural drum ai Ive heard on ios. The sample instruments sound great (particularly the whirly and EP sound really spot on). The recent addition of alchemy synth is an added bonus. Really great analogue and also newer synth sounds there. Now a lot of people have complained about the guitar sims but honestly they sound pretty good (better than ampkit in my opinion) and while they dont hold up against tonestack (my favorite) or bias/jamup you cant complain when its free and it can definitely get the job done unless your songs are mostly guitar. In that case Id get tonestack and run it into garageband instead. The only real complaint I have is the sequencer daw. Its a very clunky interface compared to other daws like nanostudio/beat maker but definitely better than korg gadget (what a nightmare). Fix that and id be happy as hell. All and all even with the daw issues I cant really complain. Its an amazing app thats also free and does a lot of different things well!

I used Alchemy for years prior to its its maker, Camel being purchased by Apple, which was a very sad and frustrating period for me. You see, I had purchased multiple sound packs from Camel, which I lost access to. They kept the synth up for a while, but what was the point? The import/export no long worked. I moved on to other DAWs. Prior to this happening, I could access, import/export and utilize every function of Alchemy with my iPad Mini 2 with no lagging or freeze ups. Fast forward to the present day, and now Apple has included Alchemy as part of their Garage Band app, but the Alchemy patches will no longer work on my Mini 2. Moreover, with no slot available for a memory card (standard on my $49 Kindle), I discovered that using a memory intensive app with no other secondary storage option other than iCloud is decidedly less than optimal, especially when traveling overseas. Spending $700 for a new iPad without additional storage so that I can access Alchemy again is also less than optional, at least for me.........

Its good, I just wish there was more to work with. Epic fighting sound effects like back where Spartans were, for example the movie Troys soundtracks have epic sounds that make them soundtracks and go with the movie.

Yo, on the audio thing, please fix it. I cant see a thing! When i was tryna make a ringtone, i couldnt see the loop thing or anything!!

When I got the APP there was no instrument so I wasnt able to play around with the appreciation

I love this app its the best app for making music out there but please add a feature for using Spotify tracks in your songs instead of only iTunes songs

You should allow soundfonts to be played in the app.
