One of the best apps ever made

Ive been writing and recording music for years, and if you had told me 20 years ago that I could write an entire album quite nicely and quite easily on something like an iPad I wouldnt have believed you. Back in my day one had to invest thousands of dollars on drum machines and sequencers, and not to mention having the final product duplicated so you can give it to everyone.

I cant believe how far things have come, not to mention that garage band comes free with an iPad or iPhone, it doesnt cost a penny. It would probably be wise to invest in a good microphone, but apart from that you have everything you need with this app to make great music.

The drum sounds in particular are amazing, its hard to believe its not a real drummer. And being able to plug a guitar in and run it through so many different amp heads without waking up the neighbours is too cool. Its just amazing what you can do with this app.

I have just two requests that I would like to see Apple incorporate into this wonderful app.

#1. It would be great if two artists could work on a song over a long distance via iCloud. My songwriting partner lives an hour away from me and it would be great if we could both work on a project from our respective homes.

#2. I would also like to be able to export a finished song straight into my Music app on my iPad. Its annoying having to move a song onto my desktop computer and then sync it into my iPad, it would be nice to be able to move it straight from GarageBand. What if I were in a position where I had no desktop computer available to me? The app needs to become completely independent of a desktop computer.
