My daughter played this on her phone and she made up her own little song

I love this app, but it is missing a lot of the things that the iPhone version has. This is on iPad and it lacks the rest of it

Love this app, can play it for a long time, played for almost 2 hours straight. Made over 50 songs and had a lot of fun. Recommend this to anyone who likes music!?????????=?

In recent days I recorded audio from people for a video Im making. When I was checking on the recordings, some of them had a message pop up that said something like "One or more audio recordings changed in length." And after that it would delete the recording I was looking at and turn it into a copy of a different recording. Im concerned it will strike again. Please neutralise this evil occurrence. Or explain why it happens. (I should also note that Ive done nothing out of the ordinary with these recordings. Theyre about as normal as you could possibly imagine. Single line voice recordings. And the names of them arent super long or repeating or anything (I read that was a possible reason for the error). And it has never happened in the past during my many past projects.)

So much to do with this

Absolutely wonderful and the centre of attention of my music loving life! But some more instruments would be the best thing ever! (Ukulele, harp, acoustic bass guitar, and of course theres never enough synths!)

Apple, your product is already amazing and continues to get better, but could you add steel pans?

I love GarageBand and I want to thank you for the latest update its amazing I would like to see more rap loops more of the chill wave and more afrobeat options especially leads,melodies and drums..Ive tried other beat makers like fruity loops and yet even on my iPhone no one has yet to top GarageBand the hands on experience with making music is amazing and cant be topped..now we just need to make GarageBand the best by putting more options to create more genres of music like different mediums to make it a little bit more unique Because I take GarageBand so serious it needs to be enough so that Im confident when I post music others wont have the same sound..this is a professional app in my opinion so everything is beneficial as is

Love the app , but recently Ive been unable to upload music to SoundCloud.

This app is the best daw Ive been able to find, with a good combination of aesthetics and sounds. Id like to see the ability to change timings for things like the smart guitar and bass, as well as a larger drum set (instead of having three sets with the same equipment and just different sounds, Id like to see the ability to add on to sets and create larger sets and the ability to combine sounds from different set-ups)

I am a rapper and I make my own beats so I tried this out and I can make really good beats but not good enough to fit the flow of my raps so if apple could put more opportunity and more controlling it would be even better

I cant upload songs to SoundCloud which is really annoying. Please fix it and also fix how the mic sounds. It echoes too much on Extra Stereo etc.

Thank you for the Camel Audio Alchemy synth collection... cant wait to see how you expand on this! Thanks for the update. It really proves what this app can do iPad, but also proves that there are so many other things it could do, with further updates. Panning automation would be a handy feature. More great sounds like banjo, accordion, etc. would be cool. Please allow us to make our tracks any color we want, just like Logic Pro X... and let these color schemes port over to when we open our projects in LPX. This update was so huge it is hard to say anything negative about it. The UI looks cleaner and crisper than ever and everything works very snappy in IAA and Audiobus. Being able to use the massive amount of sounds including guitars etc but with the keyboard is a great feature. Better guitar sounds would be very handy. LASTLY What is the point of Wide colour display (P3) and True Tone display if you can only have mustard yellow for drum tracks, blue for recorded audio and green for MIDI tracks? Why cant we change the color of a track to whatever we want like in Logic Pro X?

I use GarageBand with my irig... it does a decent job with guitars, but, it needs serious improvements as far as quality in overall tone from the guitar section... the overdrives are like ok, not as close sounding to the real thing. The keyboard section could be taken more seriously. The effects are so stupid, I cant make a beat with some spaceship sounds! The hell! Please make this app as close enough like the mac one... if possible... or Ill just buy a MacBook then...

Ive been writing and recording music for years, and if you had told me 20 years ago that I could write an entire album quite nicely and quite easily on something like an iPad I wouldnt have believed you. Back in my day one had to invest thousands of dollars on drum machines and sequencers, and not to mention having the final product duplicated so you can give it to everyone. I cant believe how far things have come, not to mention that garage band comes free with an iPad or iPhone, it doesnt cost a penny. It would probably be wise to invest in a good microphone, but apart from that you have everything you need with this app to make great music. The drum sounds in particular are amazing, its hard to believe its not a real drummer. And being able to plug a guitar in and run it through so many different amp heads without waking up the neighbours is too cool. Its just amazing what you can do with this app. I have just two requests that I would like to see Apple incorporate into this wonderful app. #1. It would be great if two artists could work on a song over a long distance via iCloud. My songwriting partner lives an hour away from me and it would be great if we could both work on a project from our respective homes. #2. I would also like to be able to export a finished song straight into my Music app on my iPad. Its annoying having to move a song onto my desktop computer and then sync it into my iPad, it would be nice to be able to move it straight from GarageBand. What if I were in a position where I had no desktop computer available to me? The app needs to become completely independent of a desktop computer.

Very impressed with this update since I last used this app. I am used to Pro Audio and Daws since the very early days and I definitely appreciate the work involved in Garage Band. I just wish you could somehow edit your own Drum kits from your own samples! There is a work around obviously but it would be GOLD if you could do that!!!
