Its amazing but it would be amazing if you could change the tunings of the instruments and change time signature.

Garageband has come a long way with the last few updates, and as a professional producer with 20 years of experience, I can now say with confidence that this is now the most complete *usable* DAW on iOS for ANY style of music. Congratulations, Apple!

Wont open after the last update.

Nice update! It will no longer open on my iPad! Definitely worth the wait!

Just downloaded the newest version (2.2) it tries to open then immediately closes. In need of bug fix!

What an update (Im off to make some ? music).

Installed with no problem, but app will not launch. Crashes. Restart of iPad does not help. Wait for further update or advice on fix.

iPhone 7. Crashes on launch.

I think it sucks that the Alchemy works on the iPhone SE, but not the iPhone 5s, which is essentially the same phone. It wont work on the iPad mini 2, either. I dont like products that offer different features just to get me to spend money on more current devices. This is plain greed!

Alchemy is amazing — one of the best Logic synths — and now you can use it on your iPad or iPhone! Even for Logic users, GB is a great way to start new ideas on the go, since you can seamlessly move them over to Logic later. Great to see lots of love for audio from Apple. By the way, the erhu is really cool too.

New update will not allow you to launch!!!

I preferred the previous version... because it actually ran!!!

Tried updating at least six times. App looks likes its finished updating and then starts all over again. Meanwhile it is unusable because its now waiting to get updated. Updated fine on ipad but not iphone 6S

This is my all-time favourite app, I would give it five stars if you added a music notation feature where you can actually write the scores. I usually use Flat.io for this but its the slowest website Ive ever come across and is actually quite hard to use.

Ive tried everything to get this thing to import audio files from Icloud. Nope....Garbage Band is what it should be renamed.
